A Message from The Chief...

Welcome to the Jefferson Volunteer Fire Department website. This website was developed to provide Fire Department information to the citizens of Jefferson and other interested parties. 

The Jefferson Volunteer Fire Department is an innovative Department and provides the community with excellent fire protection services. The Department is made up of 40 members from local community volunteers and individuals who work full time in the surrounding areas.  The Department is a dynamic organization and is always striving to improve the fire protection services provided to the City of Jefferson. The department is very proud to have achieved an ISO Class Rating of 4. This is outstanding for a volunteer fire department in a community of our size. 

The Jefferson Volunteer Fire Department is an outstanding organization with proud traditions and talented members who endeavor to provide the community with the highest standards of fire protection available.
